In total I’m involved in Futsal for over 40 years. As player for the Dutch National Futsal Team, as Club Coach, as National Coach for 8 different countries and as Instructor for FIFA/UEFA/AFC I’ve been in more than 50 countries to conduct courses.
Of course I follow the Futsal daily via all kind of websites in a lot of countries. But one thing which really impresses me are the Spanish Futsal goalkeepers. When I see how many balls they save which were 100% goal: it’s incredible! And it’s not one goalkeeper who stands head and shoulders above the rest, no they are all magnificent! Stopping balls, reflexes, switching with throwing the ball; they control everything. A big compliment to all their coaches.
